The Digitech Whammy performance and
sound are reminiscent of the original red WH-1 Whammy. All the
favourite DigiTech whammy settings that guitar players covet are
available again at the touch of a knob, from pitch bends, to detuning,
to harmony shifts. All the original Whammy features are here as well,
the rotary preset select, the Ferrari red colour, the mechanical
momentary switch.
Added is a new Dive Bomb effect (basicaly
whammy bar built into the pedal) , similar to that of a Floyd Rose
whammy bar pushed all the way to the body of the guitar. Two good
reasons to use the DigiTech Whammy Dive Bomb effect: your guitar does
not have a whammy bar, and you don't want your guitar to go out of tune.
Another
new addition to the DigiTech Whammy is a MIDI-in jack, allowing remote
control of effects via MIDI devices. Both type and control are
accomplished via MIDI program changes and CC messages respectively.
Wet/Dry outputs are provided. And 16 LEDs provide a visual confirmation
of your preset selection even on a dark stage. Includes power supply.
