As with any Fender Custom Shop sold here at Guitar Mania we are please to confirm this guitar is an official brand new guitar supplied legitimately direct from Fender UK not a grey import, nearly new or ex demo like some other ebay traders try and fob you off with. As such the guitar will be offered with the official Fender Custom Shop service and warranty, might sound like flannel to you but there are MANY ebay shops that sell Fenders that well, aren't Fenders and are very tricky to spot. This is a custom order guitar. This means we, here at Guitar Mania, requested that this guitar be built on demand. It's not a Masterbuilt guitar but it IS a pretty special, fairly limited but NOT a one off. It plays and sounds fantastic. Not everyone 'gets' the Relic thing. Maybe they would rather take their own 57 strat to a gig (geez how much would that be insured for ? £20,000, £40,000 ??) And imagine if it got stolen, you'd never find another. For £2500 it looks the same, plays BETTER, sounds the same (or better) but without the headache of a vintage. It's still 100% Fender and if you are rich enough to have the genuine article (are you sure it is though ?) then keep that for Sunday best and go kick ass with this one.
