About James:
James Parker is a 26-year-old singer/songwriter from England in the United Kingdom. James has been working on this material for around 18 months. James has been working on his new material with producer Andy Greening for his forthcoming debut album "Portland Road".
James plays acoustic & electric guitar.
As regards style, the music is rock and pop with a hint of Blues. James is influenced by artists like Lenny Kravitz, Jimi Hendrix, John Mayer & The Dave Matthews Band.
James has had numerous amounts of studio experience, and has recorded numerous tracks. Six tracks are featured on the EP When You Decide. James has sold a major amount of EPs on the Internet and at sold out gigs. James has recently been back in the studio to record his debut album "Portland Road" which should be available in mid september 2006.
James will be gigging again around the country from the end of september 2006 with a new sound and brand new tracks that are currently being worked on. "It Doesn't Matter" will feature on the new album along with "Call On Me" and "Falling Into Your Heart". James has been gigging around the south of England and has also supported Bob Dylan, Derrin Nauendorf, The Ian Parker Band with a large following, and is looking to extend his fan base. James has been featured in Livewire gig guide, and has been getting significant airplay on radio stations all around the world including the U.K., U.S.A., France and Spain to name a few.
