Chris (the MD) is a qualified electronics engineer and an accomplished guitar tech.
Jon has now set up loads more guitars than Chris and so the pupil has now become the master.

Basic re-string:
Remove and dispose of your old strings, re-string, stretch in; tune up, stretch; tune up; clean and polish.
Acoustic or Electric Guitars with standard trems or fixed bridge in STANDARD E tuning: £16.00
Acoustic or Electric Guitars with standard trems or fixed bridge with Drop / Altered tuning: £20.00
Classical either full size or 3/4 £18.00
Ibanez / Jackson style Floyd Rose trem in STANDARD E tuning: £20.00
Ibanez / Jackson style Floyd Rose trem in Drop D / Altered tuning: £25.00
Why go for this ?: You don't have time to re-string it yourself; You don't know how to put strings on; You want us to put them on "properly"; Your guitar doesn't stay in tune; Your guitar may stay in tune better now we've put the strings on properly (however, other factors do apply, see in store for details).

Intermediate Service
Remove and dispose of your old strings; clean and oil fingerboard; buff and polish frets; re-string; check /adjust truss rod (neck angle); check / adjust intonation and action; set / adjust trem; test / clean electronics; tune up; play / test and repeat above until we're satisfied it's right; clean and polish body.

The FULL Monty ServiceRemove and dispose of your old strings; full FRET DRESS with attention to individual frets; re-profile, buff and polish; deep clean fingerboard; treat / oil fingerboard; re-string; check /adjust truss rod (neck angle); check / adjust intonation and action; clean individual bridge saddles; set / adjust trem including radius; test / clean electronics; tune up; play / test and repeat above until we're satisfied it's right; clean and polish body.

Noisy volume / Tone pot replacement. 25K / 250K / 500K / 1 Meg - in stock Switch replacement: 5 way, 3 way or even 4 way. Strat, Ibanez, all available from stock Top Nut Replacement - many nut sizes kept in stock. Neck adjustment - truss rod adjustment, (usually included in set ups) Electrical - re-wire, buzzing, earthing problems, tone problems Pick up fitting: We can either fit your supplied pickup or get a 50% fitting discount when you get us to supply and fit. We stock Bare Knuckle, EMG, Seymour Duncan, Dimazio and Fender pickups.
