Compression is perhaps one of the most useful and versatile effects
available to any guitarist who is interested in improving their tone.
The purpose of the Compressor pedal is primarily to allow you to modify
the sustain and attack of your guitar sound. Using classic variable gain
techniques the Compressor will provide masses of clean sustain, which
you can utilise whatever your style. The Compressor pedal senses the
level of the incoming guitar signal and, as the signal level decays, the
gain of the internal circuitry is boosted to provide extra level and
hence sustain. The attack control modifies the dynamic response of the
guitar signal (the effect of plucking a string) and allows you to
achieve a range of effects from rounded and mellow to percussive and
funky. The Compressor also features an Emphasis control which allows you
to assign compression and target the frequencies you want to compress.
This means that you can, for example, tighten up or compress your bass
notes and let your treble notes ring out.

The Marshall JH-1 JACKHAMMER delivers the extreme distortion effects
you crave. Since Marshall began in 1962, the Marshall name has been
synonymous with high quality distortion tones. Initially, the way to get
classic Marshall distortion was to naturally overdrive one of their
valve amps by cranking it up to full volume. As time went by the
Marshall Master Volume heads allowed the generation of more extreme
levels of distortion as the pre-amp valves were driven into overdrive.
Marshall's first generation pedals simulated these various valve amp
type distortions in convenient, cost effective stomp boxes. The
Jackhammer is the next step on from previous Marshall distortion pedals.
The JH1 pedal contains Marshall's most extreme distortion levels to

The Digitech Whammy performance and
sound are reminiscent of the original red WH-1 Whammy. All the
favourite DigiTech whammy settings that guitar players covet are
available again at the touch of a knob, from pitch bends, to detuning,
to harmony shifts. All the original Whammy features are here as well,
the rotary preset select, the Ferrari red colour, the mechanical
momentary switch.
Added is a new Dive Bomb effect (basicaly
whammy bar built into the pedal) , similar to that of a Floyd Rose
whammy bar pushed all the way to the body of the guitar. Two good
reasons to use the DigiTech Whammy Dive Bomb effect: your guitar does
not have a whammy bar, and you don't want your guitar to go out of tune.
