Just like it's more expensive sibling the AEG10E, this happy little guitar will keep you amused for hours but for less cash. No fancy arty farty inlay around the sound hole and a stuck on headstock logo rather than the AEG10E's inlaid one. Other than that it's difficult to spot the difference. Sound, feel and playability are pretty similar.

Both the AEG10 and the AEG8 have a concert sized body (jargon for slightly smaller, slightly thinner) which is a blessing on stage, because thin is in baby yeah ! Well, it does help a little in a loud stage situation because the body may resonate less and cause you less feedback problems. Plus, maybe you'll find it just a bit more comfortable. All in all a great guitar which sounds great either just acoustically or used "live".
